A QUESTION FROM A NEW HERBALIFE USER
QUESTION:
Hi,
I’m new to herbalife(just started my diet last Saturday)and every since I made my order I can’t get a hold of my distributor, so I was hoping you could answer some of my questions. I wanted to know if I could have a small cup of soup or dry cereal between one meal/shake? Also I wanted to know what can I add to the tea to make it less bitter(other than sugar). Finally I wanted to know what other drinks can I have i.e juices, soda, lemonade. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

First of all let me congratulate you on taking the initiative to start a healthy diet.
Here is my advice concerning your questions:
-If you want to see results fast, you should change the way you look at food, it is there for us as a nutrition and nothing else. In other words, nutritive food is healthy food and therefor diet food, all other man made food are less nutritious more artificial and should be called “fat food”.
With that being said, a healthy organic granola or oat or any other cereal as long as it is organic processed the least and with no added sugar is good for you, you can take it but be-careful portion control is the key here, you can take it especially before a workout or long walk or any exercise tip, it will be considered as a good fuel that brings you the nutrients you need without the calories that you should avoid. That is for the cereal, for the soup yes you can especially homemade with fresh seasonal ingredients, and here to portion control and try to make it as light as possible with without less salt because remember salt create water retention and that will affect the scale, but if i was you i will take the soup at night, you will get the balance you need and have a good night.
-For the sweetener three options stevia a natural sweetener with zero calories, AGAVE a natural sweetener with a low glycemic index but has calories, and honey always good for you but has calories as well.
-For the drinks, if you can make your own freshly made seasonal fruit or vegetable juice with no added sugar that will be your best choice, but if i can suggest just water that will be better to see results fast, and definitely NO SODA , or pre-made juices they are full of sugar.

Our daily menu
Being healthy feels great, we started my husband and i herbalife weight loss diet Monday November 22nd, after doing a Master cleanse.
Here is our daily menu:
-Herbalife shake in the morning, we like cookies and cream i mix it with water and ice.
-I take a snack around 11AM, a handful of raison mixed with almonds.

The hardest part during a diet is to resist food, so to ovoid that here are two good tips to follow:
-At home, DON’T buy food that you are not supposed to eat during the diet, if you don’t have it you won’t eat it.
